Healthier substitutions - Create a healthier display of foods by substituting healthier ingredients in your favorite recipes or by bringing in healthier holiday treats to work.

  • Hummus Dip and Veggies - instead of pita chips, try veggie sticks such as jicama (which contains inulin and can lower blood sugar), sugar snap peas, tri-color sliced bell peppers and carrots.
  • Healthy Dips - try Greek yogurt and spinach dip with fresh cut veggie sticks.
  • Roasted Veggie Kabobs -roasted veggie kebabs boast a wide assortment of colors and flavors, including bell peppers, squash, onion, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Try this veggie kabob recipe.
  • Fruit Trays- For gatherings, instead of taking a dessert take a cur fruit tray with interspersed dark chocolates.
